Snake River, South Fork Fishing trip

Saturday the 13th got up at 330am, yay the alarm clock did it's job. Jim came to get me at 415 am and then we where off on I-15 heading to Idaho Falls Idaho. To stay awake we talked about everything from politics to religion. Three hours later we exited I-15 in Idaho Falls and headed to Swan Valley. An hour later we where checking into the little cabin, and on the water around 10am or so. We floated the river for the next 7 hours finding fishing holes on the way. We caught mostly Rainbow Trout and a few Yellowstone Cutthroat trout, both very pretty, non stocked fish.

The next day was freezing in the morning so we didn't get on the water until 1030, but we where rewarded with even better fishing on the smaller stretch. Jim always catches more than me, but I was still catching them. The first hole we pulled in 8 fish, next few holes Jim slayed them and my worms where somehow inferior. Soon we made it to a covergance where several swift currents met together. We both caught a few, then I snagged a pretty big rainbow, it turned out to be the biggest fish of the trip.

This was a great time fishing and hanging out with Jim, we had a ton of fun. Fishing is just an extra when it comes to amazing scenery. We saw bald Eagles, Ospreys, rolling mountains. We where on the edge of Targhee National Forest.

Came home around 8pm suday night tried, sunburnt, and relaxed from being in some of the most beautiful country. Now for the next advanture, taking Jake!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Brady is out for season

Feast or Famine

My job can be most frustrating sometimes. We are either super busy or dead. The only way I get work is people who need dialysis in the hospital. So do I start praying for people to get sick and have kidney failure? ;) Bad joke, but it's almost tempting so that I get provide what this family needs. I did work until 2am saturday night, but that was because of Doctor's not communicating with us.

Anyways I have a new game to occupy my time and for Julie to yell at me about. Warhammer online just started it's open beta yesterday and what little I have played it is pretty fun. Kinda like World of Warcraft, but not quite. This is an even more team based pvp type game, they actually call it RvR (Realm vs Realm).

Flesh Eater!

Eli has done something the rest of my children haven't, he sucks his thumb. My flesh eating son ravishes both thumbs, apparently has no preferences. It has help put him to sleep and to quench his thirst for man flesh. Otherwise my knuckles get worn raw, more like covered in slobber. He has started eating rice cereal and he loves it. He feels like he gains 5 pounds when he finishes his little bowl. Eli is a bundle of joy, he is easy to smile and if you are lucky even laugh. He already automatically puts any object straight to mouth if anything is nearby, including noses, fingers, and toys. I have yet to figure out where all of his slobber comes from though. He has such a small mouth and so much moisture comes out from it.
Jake started preschool this week, he loves it, so does mom and dad. I drop off the kids on the way to work and I have fun doing it. The other day I watched Emily walk to her class and was just so proud. She was walking confidently knowing that all was well. I am one proud papa!

Well here it is

After much downloading cutting and pasting I came down to this. So I hope yall like it, I will forever be making changes to it.

So I had the opportunity to work on Monday (Labor day) and my backpack was stolen. I walked away from it for 10 minutes came back and it was gone. I then hurried down to security to look over the tapes to see if someone walked off the unit with my backpack. Well we saw no one so I know my backpack was still on the unit. After looking for the 10th time in a clean utility room my bag was found in a garbage can hidden under crumpled paper towels. All the pockets where open and my wallet was missing. This was an incredibly frustrating day, yet I somehow kepted my cool. Since working in the hospital this has never been an issue. The unit I was on has never had something like this happen before. I still can't believe that it actually happened, in a hospital. This person knew what they where doing, so I am a bit suspicious that it is an employee who did this.

Luckily I had tuesday off to spend time at the DMV, on the phone with the bank, buy a new wallet( I really needed one ), and getting things in order. Due to a selfish jerk I have not had a very good week so far.
